Why bata-batuta poetries?

I started writing poetries when my first born was only about three years old. It continued after we had another daughter 4 years later and a son 7 years after.
I'll never forget how much we really wanted our children right from the start, how much we wanted to give them our best from conception, to birth and actual upbringing. We want to give them a good future. They are our number one priority in life.
Having kids opened my eyes to good and noble things. It made see things in a different perspective. It brought about in me a fervour to cherish and protect not only my own but also other children as well who are less fortunate. It made me realize how precious new life is, and how this most innocent of creations deserve to be treated. It made me sad to think that a lot of them suffer even before birth and much more so after that I tried to think of a way to alleviate their pain in any way possible in my present circumstance.
That's when I begun writing poetries, compiling them in this website. I hope that in the opening of its pages, people will also begin to open their hearts to the children.
